A Half Day in Glenfinnan
Glenfinnan is one of the Highlands' most recognisable locations, where dramatic scenery, Loch Shiel and the famous Glenfinnan Viaduct come together.
Starting from Fort William, we'll travel west to Glenfinnan, arriving early when the Jacobite morning service is operating to allow plenty of time to explore before the train is due.
The tour remains flexible throughout, with the route adapted around the season, train operations, weather and your interests.
Your Glenfinnan Half Day
Every tour is a little different, but we'll have time to explore Glenfinnan, enjoy the views across Loch Shiel and see the famous Glenfinnan Viaduct.
When the Jacobite morning service is operating, we'll arrive early to allow time to explore before walking to one of the viaduct viewpoints for the train crossing.
Outside the operating season, or when services change, the route can include other scenic locations such as Neptune's Staircase, the shores of Loch Linnhe or Glen Nevis.
